PPL PRS join the party for Curve Live!

PPL PRS Ltd, the music licensing venture formed between PPL and PRS for Music, based in Leicester is delighted to support the 10th birthday celebrations for city theatre, Curve.

The event, Curve Live!, being held on Sunday 26th August, will feature musical numbers, drama and dance performances from theatrical stars and friends of Curve. Lucie Jones, who starred as Elle Woods in Curve’s 2016 production of the hit musical Legally Blonde and Jodie Prenger who appeared at the theatre in Calamity Jane in 2015, will host and perform during the evening.

PPL PRS are supporting the live online streaming of the free, one-off concert via Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, along with the thousands of Curve supporters registered to receive the link.  You can follow PPL PRS and Curve on social media for updates and to view the performances on the day.

Curve Live! is also scheduled to include performances from X Factor winner Sam Bailey, along with many other stars of the Curve stage such as Anton Stephans (Scrooge the Musical), Dex Lee (Grease the Musical), Molly Lynch (Sunset Boulevard), Jessica Paul (Grease the Musical), Mark Peachy (Richard III), Peter Polycarpou (Oliver!), Stewart Clarke (A Streetcar Named Desire), Ceri Dupree (Hot Stuff), Nathanael Landskroner (An Officer and a Gentleman – the Musical and Scrooge the Musical), plus stars of the West End stage Amara Okereke (Les Miserables), Melanie La Barrie (Wicked). Curve’s Over-55s dancers and the Curve Young Company will also be performing at the event.
