PPL PRS are delighted to be announced as an Associate Partner of Leicester Tigers, having made its home in the city in 2017, the company now employs over 280 staff at its Mercury Place offices, and plays a prominent role within the Leicester business community being a member of the BID organisation, Strategic Partner of the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Business Friend of Curve Theatre and an active supporter of many Leicester charities and events.

Over the years there has been much research conducted on the effect music can have on athletes and how using music during training can help improve performance, but what about the use of music to enhance the fan experience, and build a team identity?

Consider the sound of Swing Low Sweet Chariot echoing around Twickenham Stadium sung by 50,000 England rugby fans as they lift and support their team and country during games. Music has the power to bring the team and fans together, which is why PPL PRS are proud to be an Associate Partner of Leicester Tigers for the 2021 – 2022 season.

We are extremely proud to become an Associate Partner of Leicester Tigers and we wish them a successful season into 2022, and look forward to a long and entertaining partnership in the years to come.”

Mark Davies, Head of Business Development at Leicester Tigers, said: “PPL PRS showed their support for the Club last season by taking one of a seat-covering advertising to promote TheMusicLicence, and we’re delighted to formalise and grow this relationship for the forthcoming season.

“Being relative newcomers to the city of Leicester we are looking forward to working with them to raise both awareness of the Licence and also the organisation, as they continue to spread their roots throughout the Leicester community.”
