1500 Leicester & Leicestershire young musicians to perform in 3-day ‘Leics Make Music’ festival at De Montfort Hall

Leicestershire Music’s ‘Leics Make Music’ Festival 2025 will take place over Tuesday 24th – Thursday 26th June. The ambitious series of five separate events incorporates singing only concerts, concerts for school children, partnership work with the prestigious Gabrielli Roar and performances by a wide range of Leicestershire Music’s own choirs and music groups.

Over 1500 young musicians from the city and county will perform on the big stage, showing what they have learned through attending Leicestershire Music choirs, bands, orchestras and groups.

“We are delighted to be providing these experiences for our young people and know that the memories created will stay with them forever. For many at the start of their musical journey, this will be their first visit / performance experience and hopefully inspire them to pursue an interest in music making.

We’d like to thank PPL PRS for their generous sponsorship, support for these events allows us to increase the work that we do and enable more young people to have these life changing experiences and opportunities.”
