PPL PRS Collections Team win Team of the Year at Enterprising Women Awards 2023

The PPL PRS Collections team were crowned winners as Team of the Year at the East Midlands Chamber of Commerce Enterprising Women Awards last Friday (5^th October).

The Award which recognises a team of people (which can consist of both male and female employees) for achieving success through the leadership and management of a dynamic female leader.

The team, led by Judy Anderson, Head of Legal Operations, along with Team Managers Emma Moore and Fiona Parker are responsible for ensuring that customers of TheMusicLicence pay in a timely manner to ensure PPL and PRS for Music members are paid promptly for their works. Working with customers to provide affordable payment options where necessary, whilst also talking about the benefits that music can have for both customers and employees.

The Collections Team have consistently performed over the last 12 months, collecting in 110% of their budget whilst continuing to support and build relationships across the business and with customers.

The award was presented at a gala dinner at Leicester’s Winstanley House, where sponsors and finalists gathered to celebrate enterprising women in business across the East Midlands.

On winning the award, Judy Anderson said: “This is a really proud moment that recognises the huge amount of commitment, determination and effort everyone has provided to make it happen.   It was a transformational year for the team and they have achieved not only great success, but also a created a team full of spirit, engagement and ambition to do even more.  As managers this award means the world to Fiona Parker, Emma Moore and I and we believe it will drive the team to even greater achievement for the future.”
