PPL PRS and Bring The Paint announce first live music event for Leicester street art festival

PPL PRS are excited to be working with Bring The Paint street art festival to bring free live music to Leicester on Saturday 25th May with artists and DJs performing throughout the day at LCB Depot on Rutland Street in the Cultural Quarter.

The fourth instalment of the award-winning festival which boasts the largest line-up of internationally acclaimed street artists in the UK will attract thousands of visitors to the city over the seven days to witness the artists’ progress as they paint fresh locations and is shaping up to be the most ambitious yet. The festival will feature a huge selection of international, national, and local artists creating over thirty murals across the city as well as a host of exhibitions, workshops, live music events, street art tours and many other family friendly activities.

Bringing art and music together, a specially created playlist has been created for the festival, with tracks chosen by the artists themselves*, which visitors will be able to listen to as they follow the trail around the city or visit the venues involved.

On Saturday 25th May there will be live music at the LCB Depot in the city’s cultural quarter with performances from local artists:

Out Of Joint record and clothing store are programming the sounds for the day, so you can expect top quality, high energy, positive vibes and a touch of class as they call upon friends and family of the shop to take Leicester on a genre hopping musical journey as a backdrop to this year’s Bring The Paint Festival.

Since the first festival in 2017, Bring The Paint has drastically reinvented the visual landscape of the city; creating one of the largest free open air galleries in the world for all to enjoy and showcasing the all-round benefits of large scale public artwork.
